Marcos pushes agri courses for PH students

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is urging students to take up agricultural studies to boost the country’s food production.

At the distribution of certificates of land ownership award, e-titles, and inauguration of farm-to-market roads in Coron, Palawan, Marcos Jr. emphasized the need to highlight agriculture courses.

Most students do not prefer courses in agriculture, the President said.

This, he added, prompted the administration to promote and highlight their importance to the country’s development.

At least 19 agriculture graduates received their land titles from the chief executive during the event.
